Protocol UNECE, the PRTR is the first legally binding international instrument. It was adopted in Kiev in 2003, and entered into force in October 2009. PRTR objectives of improving public access to information from the environment to facilitate public participation, to cooperate and contribute in the prevention and control of pollution.
The purpose of this protocol is to increase public awareness of the companies in terms of reducing pollution in the environment, which is very dangerous for human health and well being through the implementation of the registers of transfer of pollutants and pollutants, can bring benefits to industry through improved management of pollutants.

Macedonia is a signatory to this Protocol since 2003, but has not yet entered into force because the government has not yet ratifikuvano.Vo regarding ratification of this Protocol, the Republic of Macedonia managed to make a significant step forward by including a representative of Macedonia Compliance Committee (Compliance Committee) for the United Nations PRTR.

As part of climate change and its impact on 31.03.2010 at 11.30 at the OU Straso Pindzur nas.Dame Gruev - Gorce Petrov Florozon NGO in cooperation with the Municipality Petrov organized educational workshop on Renewable energy function of protecting the environment.
The workshop which is part of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency was designed for representatives of educational institutions in the municipality Petrov, citizens and business and aimed to present the practical operation of renewable energy sources and to indicate the benefits of use.
The workshop was led by NGOs and experts from Florozon energy to perform work for demonstration and development of solar collector for producing hot water.
The project was developed informational flyers, posters and brochure aimed at the general public, do it yourself solar collector.
