Today in Bitola, CED Florozon launched the public campaign for adaptation of agriculture to climate change in the Republic of Macedonia. The event was organized within the project: "Local action for global climate adaptation" which is financially supported by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Skopje and provides organization of caravan with informative as well as an advisory role.
The caravan started on the central square Magnolia, where project coordinator Kiril Ristovski in cooperation with the central office of the National Extension Agency for development of agriculture, presented the project activities and results. The dissemination of promotional materials was supported by the local NGOs and farmers' associations, as well as by volunteers and activists of CED Florozon – Skopje that also visited the rural areas around Bitola.
Next stop for the caravan is Kriva Palanka on Wednesday 28.9.2016, following Kumanovo (03.10.2016), Stip (10.05.2016), Strumica (10.10.2016) Skopje (10.12.2016), Prilep (10.17.2016), Kavadarci (19.10.2016) and Tetovo (10.24.2016).
