The Center for Environmental Democracy FLOROZON in cooperation with the Inspection Council, supported by the Institute for Communication Studies, started the process of amending the Rulebook on the form and content of the report on the work of the inspection service for the previous six months and the annual report work of inspection services.
The proposal for amending the Rulebook is a result of the work of the Working Group consisted of representatives of the State Inspectorate Bodies, which have competencies in the field of environment and CSOs representatives (i.e. CED FLOROZON and Institute for Communication Studies), and intends to provide better reporting methods in line with the international standards on transparency and accountability. With this regard, we organized two thematic workshops targeting the administrative personnel of the inspectorates responsible for the preparation of the progress reports.
The aim of the workshops is to enable inclusion of relevant stakeholder in the process of adopting the proposed changes and to provide consensual decision-making.
