We inform you that the Citizens' Association FLOROZON Center for Environmental Democracy Skopje has started the implementation of the project "GREEN COMPLAINT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE". Тhe main goal of the project is to empower civil society organizations to create and implement legal acts and policies , as well as to strengthen their advocacy and oversight role.
The implementation of this project will contribute to creating a more efficient and "green" legal system, improving the rule of law in Macedonia and strengthening the democratization of institutional reform processes. In addition, the project will strengthen the supervisory function of local organizations from all eight planning regions of North Macedonia, thus providing them with a favorable environment for monitoring and implementing environmental policies.
The target group of the project are representatives of civil society organizations working in the field of environmental justice, defenders of human rights within the framework of the environment, employees of the offices of the Ombudsman, representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning and the State Environmental Inspectorate. Academic staff will also be involved in the project.
